Cancer Testing Services is a not-for-profit, community interest company with an obligation to generate a financial surplus which directly benefits the adult community in Surrey, all bordering counties and South and Central London. (Other areas may be served by request) Re-investment is guaranteed by an asset lock.

CTS has volunteer directors and an increasing number of volunteer phlebotomists and administration staff. The company actively recruits volunteers who want to help with testing and offers a phlebotomy training which can be a private, fully-priced, course or a purely volunteer event-contracted course. Each course supplies an opportunity to gain competency certification which is something not frequently possible. There are opportunities in research, education, administration, financial services, clinical and safeguarding and event administration. See details in (VOLUNTEERS). Many volunteers not only enjoy being part of a dynamic organisation but find the experience useful in their CV development.
